Gray Hair

I’m trying to figure out the proper balance between thinking that my increasingly gray hair makes me look more professional and my increasingly gray hair just makes me look old.

The hair dye I got as a gag gift a couple years ago might actually get used one of these days…

I just won a criminal trial that I had zero hope of winning. How the heck does that happen?

It reminded me of the old joke where the lawyer calls his client with the result of his case and says “Justice was done.” The client then responds “Appeal immediately!”

Saw a great show yesterday at the Sellersville Theater in, well, Sellersville. Jonathan Coulton with Paul and Storm. Paul and Storm are hilarious, and Coulton’s songs stay with you for weeks. Birthday Gift Woes

I’ve definitely reached that point in life where I make it absolutely impossible for others to buy birthday gifts for me. My birthday is in a couple days, yet I’ve given my family no indication whatsoever of anything I might want. The simple fact is, I don’t want anything. Oh sure, I’d love to have a new sports car or huge new TV, but even if I had the money for such things I’d need to get them myself. (You can’t give big dollar gifts. It simply does not work.) As far as lower price gifts, there’s nothing I really want. Any electronics I want, I buy for myself. Same thing with CDs and DVDs. What’s that leave? Well, I always need more socks.
